We have been journeying through history from Creation to Noah's flood to the tower of Babel. Presently we are leaving Ur and the Sumerian culture that God called Abraham out of. Above is a picture of the ingredients we used to make a lentil stew. The Fertile Crescent was a very fertile land for growing lentils and other crops during Abraham's days.
The lentils are soaking in the pot here.
The finished stew!
Enjoying the meal as a family!
Dressing up to complete the lentil stew experience! The boys thought I was a bit carried away! :)
We are a Christian homeschooling family of 10! We are answering God's call to train up our children in the way they should go. Every day brings new adventures and new ways to understand a little more of who God is and what His purpose is for our lives. This blog is my life at home homeschooling my kids. I write book and product reviews and thoughts on homeschooling and raising eight children, and hopefully encouraging others along the way. Join us!

Hello! It's Marty from Sahm I Am.
ReplyDeleteI assuming you did want me to add you to Homeschool Blogger Update since you commented on that post, right?
I wanted to know if you want me to add a screen name that you use? Or your first name?
Most of the ladies' blogs on HBU are from Homeschool Reviews http://homeschoolreviews.com
so you will see screen names listed there as well as first names.
If you don't want ANY name other than your blog, that is fine too.
Just let me know. =)
Hi Marty,
ReplyDeleteI can go by Dirigo Christian Homeschool or Jennifer. Thanks for adding me to the list! I'm interested in connecting with others in this blogging world!
